Application Failure

I saw the following in my Facebook timeline, and have redacted the name to protect the innocent:

unimagination

Let’s just leave aside for the moment that most of these applications have little more relevance than horoscopes. I’m not sure why, but suddenly there were at least three of these little “name analyzers” zipping across Facebook.

If we take this result at face value, I have to ask the question:

“How freakin’ imaginative can you really be if you can’t think of two different words that start with ‘i‘?”

Do you really want an application representing you that way?

I had similar thoughts when I first saw this on my Facebook…I tend to mostly ignore these applications. (Sorry, people! I just hate horoscopic apps.)
