At first it seems like WTF is Ike writing about but then it all comes into focus, much like building a puzzle. Big, complex projects can be daunting and that is what keeps a lot of folks from getting started. But like your Aunt, the secret is to break them down into parts that you can reference, sort, etc. so that once you start doing all the little processes, the big process kind of starts to fall into place. I credit those 1000 piece and 3D puzzles with helping hone my problem solving skills and helping me to pass my required Math course.   It seems your wife's Aunt Marjorie and I have something else in common... We have the same method for assembling puzzles... While the sorting may take some time... you get familiar with ever part of the picture. You can see the pieces you are looking for when glancing across the proper shape.
