This is a bad time of year for writing to begin with. We’re also in the middle of shuffling offices, and I am temporarily separated from my usual equipment and surroundings.
Working out of boxes is no fun, when I would much rather be filling this one.
I’m still having big thoughts, but they are backing up and starting to lose some steam.
Thanks for your patience.
Dear Isaac,
We recently sent you a message stating that your LinkedIn password had been disabled for security reasons. (Note: If you have more than one email registered with us, you will receive more than one password reset message. You only need to act on one of them.)
This was in response to a security breach on a different site, Gawker.com, where a number of usernames and passwords were exposed. We want to make sure those leaked emails and passwords were not being used to attack any LinkedIn members.
There is no indication that your LinkedIn account has been affected, but since it shares an email with the compromised Gawker accounts, we decided to ensure its safety by asking you to reset its password.

I don’t have an iPad, but I know several people who do.
I also know that I am using audio on almost all of my posts now, and video on many.
Which means it’s time for me to make those past embedded videos HTML-5 friendly, if I want to be seen and heard along with being read.
I’d rather be writing an incredible post that involves both Leslie Nielsen and Wikileaks, but I also haven’t gotten around to writing the one about Andy Griffith, football, and jargon.
So, thank you, Steve Jobs… for giving me an excuse to play around with code, and concepts like “gracefully degrading.” 47 months of posts. No problem…
My apologies to those who subscribe to my feed – I’m trying to figure out what’s causing it to do screwy things.

How space affects a woman’s perception of time.
Apparently, space increases overall satisfaction.
Just so I can find it later, my Facebook Exit Strategy:
1) Set Facebook Death Date. 2) Arrange contact info for friends. 3) Kill account. 4) Return in 30 days, make placeholder.Sun May 16 02:56:58 via Twikini
